YCMOU is the Fifth Open University of the country. The University offers more than 120 different academic programs at affordable costs to large segments of the population by removing barriers of age, entry qualification, place and pace of study.
Due to the massive nature of the examination structure, it was crucial to track if all the examination centers operate smoothly which can be tracked through a single source from a central place. Keeping the attendance data of the supervisors in one place also was important in order to pay the remunerations of the supervisors.
We designed such an app for the university, that it could track all the examination centers at a time. The team from headquarters could monitor the attendance of all the supervisors, such as punching in and out and locations. As soon as supervisors would come to the examination centers, they would share their selfie and the system would grab their location, time and photo id so as to create their attendance for the day.
Real-time tracking of the examinations became possible by tracking all the centers on a big screen at headquarters. This helped immensely to keep the data of all supervisors in one place and release their payments hassle-free. The system registers all the entries in one place, so data maintenance has become easy and time-saving.
